Bruderhof Talkfest is a free weekly Christian podcast hosted by members of the Bruderhof, an intentional Christian community with locations worldwide. We are a church of families and single people who try to love our neighbor and share everything, so that peace and justice become a reality. On our free weekly podcast, we talk about how we do that, weaving culture, church life, spirituality, and current events into our discussions about communal living.

Don't just listen to us talk; come join the conversation in person!

Our current core team includes Bernard Hibbs and Peter Mommsen, with occasional other guests.

Bernard lives at the Darvell Bruderhof in East Sussex, United Kingdom. He and his wife Rachel have 3 children and a number of exotic pets, which make frequent cameos on the podcast. Peter lives at the Fox Hill Bruderhof in New York State and is an editor at Plough, the Bruderhof’s publishing house. He is the author of Homage to a Broken Man: The Life of J. Heinrich Arnold. He and his wife Wilma have three children and a dog, Hector, who also finds himself being discussed on the podcast almost every week.
