BRUDERHOF FOR A DAY

Join us on a Saturday to experience Christian community

If you’ve been wishing to visit, we're hosting a series of Saturday events to make it easy. We’re eager to hear your story and share ours, and to encourage one another by spending the day together.

Program (it’s flexible)

  • 12:00 Welcome – light lunch and introductions.
  • 1:00 Work – a variety of options: preparing community dinner, mulching raspberries, working in the vegetable garden. (You’ll want to wear comfortable attire.)
  • 3:00 Fun – volleyball, soccer, Frisbee, socializing.
  • 5:00 Conversation – discussions with members of the Bruderhof.
  • 6:30 Food – share a meal with all of us (about 200 people), as well as some of our neighbors and friends from the area.
  • 8:00 More fun – folk dancing, a campfire (weather permitting), singing, a  chance to exchange thoughts before we end the day together.

Re: COVID-19, we strongly endorse and encourage vaccination, but are not requiring it for any of our guests. (Our own population over age 12 will have been almost completely vaccinated by June.)  However, guests who have not yet been vaccinated may be asked to have a nasal swab (rapid antigen test) on arrival at the Bruderhof, and will also be asked to wear a mask when indoors.  Finally, we do request that any guest who has any concerning symptoms such as cough or cold or fever, or loss of taste or smell, etc. reschedule for another date, when feeling better.
