Bird Photography in the Catskill Mountains

June 17, 2020 by

I love nature. I especially love the Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York. However, with photography, a moment can be preserved and relayed to anyone unable to experience it. That is also something to love. Of all the scenes and moments to photograph, my preference is the majestic peregrine falcon in flight. Yet, nearly any bird can look beautiful in a pleasing position and in good lighting. I was introduced into this love of nature photography two years ago by a friend, and ever since it has been my passion. And I believe there is always a chance for a better photograph. One of the most beautiful places in the world, the Catskills are a haven for all wildlife, particularly birds. In the mountains, with a camera, and birds in flight, what could be better?
