Crossroad Community • Minneapolis, MN

About Us:
In August of 2018, we began a new effort in Minneapolis with the hope to connect with other people who are seeking a way to follow Jesus in community. Crossroad Community currently consists of two couples, a two-year-old, and several single people sharing a rented home, working in the city, and pooling our income.

Our house is located in southwest Minneapolis, just five blocks from Lake Harriet. The local area enjoys great diversity, with over a million first- and second-generation immigrants from various countries. We’re ten minutes from downtown and twenty from just about anywhere else in the Twin Cities. We have a beautiful backyard and a large living room that makes a great place for gathering and discussion.

Connecting with Neighbors:
A number of our new friends join us for brunch every Sunday, which is always filled with meaningful fellowship and a chance to discuss topics that are central to the heart of God. We also offer book studies, workshops, and discussion groups during weekday evenings, and we enjoy meeting people in coffee shops or parks. We welcome everyone and know that God has a purpose and meaning for all people.

Meet a member of the Crossroad Bruderhof:

Jeff: I grew up in Buffalo, NY, and because of a dysfunctional home life, I became an atheist at a young age. However, when I was seventeen I met Jesus and became a believer. Since then I have sought a way to live out his message that requires all of my heart, soul, mind, and strength. That search eventually led me and my wife to the Bruderhof, where I found an intentional community with a radical commitment and trust. We believe this gift is for every person, and we long to share it with everyone. Jesus’ challenge to make disciples and teach them his commandments inspires us. We believe that God wants to gather many from this area by demonstrating His love through a handful of people. Come and join us!
